FAMILY CODE OF CONDUCT
At Sauk Prairie Strikers Soccer Club, we believe that sports should be a fun and enriching experience for all involved. Our Family Code of Conduct outlines the commitments expected from both players and parents to foster a positive environment.
PLAYER COMMITTMENT
As a player, I pledge to practice good sportsmanship, respect my coaches, maintain our facilities, choose positivity, value effort, be inclusive, and represent my community with pride. These principles guide my actions both on and off the field, ensuring that I contribute to a supportive team atmosphere.
PARENT COMMITTMENT
As a parent or guardian, I commit to modeling sportsmanship, respecting officials, keeping a positive attitude, valuing volunteer time, prioritizing safety, and understanding the consequences of unsportsmanlike behavior. My role is to support my child and the team, creating a nurturing environment for all athletes.
THE 24 HOUR RULE
To maintain a constructive atmosphere, we enforce a 24-hour cooling-off period after games or incidents. This allows emotions to settle before discussing any grievances, ensuring that conversations remain focused on the child's best interests.
Together, we can make youth soccer a rewarding experience for everyone involved!
VOLUNTEERING
Our program is maintained by all volunteers. In order to keep our program supported, we
Each family is required to volunteer once per player within the Fall/Spring season. Volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the season and distributed via email and PlayMetrics.
While we do offer a volunteer opt-out option for a fee, we do not want your money. When we send out volunteer requests, we really just need bodies to help keep our organization operating smoothly.
